Copywriter Job Description

Job Overview
A Copywriter is responsible for providing innovative copy across all Marketing functions including emails, blogs, marketing literature and website content. A successful Copywriter will have the ability to produce creative, concise and engaging copy to tight deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Writing and optimising copy for the company website including web content, blog and micro-sites
- Produce email content for direct marketing campaigns
- Working closely with the marketing team to ensure a clear concise and cohesive message is given
- Writing copy for printed material including company brochures, direct mail pieces
- Researching and writing press releases and articles as directed by the Marketing team

Skills / Attributes Required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Proven experience in Copywriting over various media including web and printed material
- Can work on own initiative, and effectively manage time to meet deadlines
- Accurate with a keen eye for detail when working on large volumes of copy
- Educated to degree level, ideally in Marketing

Typical Salary Range: £22,000 to £30,000
