Marketing Account Executive Job Description

Job Overview
An Account Executive is responsible for managing client accounts by developing marketing proposals, managing PR and marketing communication campaigns. Ensuring activities are completed on brief, to budget and to schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Building relationships with clients
- Managing numerous projects for client accounts
- Client meetings and dealing with all account administration
- Dealing with trade media, pitching articles/interviews and producing editorial copy to meet media requests and bookings
- Media planning for online and offline advertising
- Email marketing campaigns including Enewsletters
- Production of marketing collateral
- Exhibition support
- Direct mail

Skills / Attributes Required:
- A Marketing degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a marketing communications environment
- Outstanding attention to detail (spotting typos etc)
- Articulate and with great communication/presentation skills
- The ability to prioritise and deliver multiple projects
- Desire to develop existing and new accounts
- Self motivated and reliable
- Demonstrable ability to work well with others in teams and projects

Typical Salary Range: £18,000 to £25,000
